Transport for London are proposing to remove a section of the R7 bus route - The section they plan to cut serves the more isolated areas around Chelsfield and Well Hill, exactly where they most need public transport. The existing route provides vital access for staff at Chelsfield Park Hospital, Brind's Well Nursery School and Brown's School, as well as numerous small businesses. The R7 bus also provides access to and from the BoPeep public house and a means for patients to reach and leave the hospital for those who cannot, or should not, drive.
