The 315 bus route is an essential service which runs from St Julian's Farm Road to Balham Station. Local people in Streatham rely on the route to get them to and from school, the overground and underground rail stations and the amenities of Balham, Streatham High Road and West Norwood.

Currently the service operates with one bus every 20 minutes which is woefully insufficient at the beginning and end of the school and work day.

We are asking for TFL to increase the level of service during the hours 6.30 to 9am and  3.30 to 7pm, Monday to Friday, to both cater for and encourage people to use this fantastic bus service.

With several schools on its route the 315 offers an alternative to children and young people to get to school by local transport instead of by car. But just one bus every 20 minutes makes it unreliable for arriving at school on time.

As a route that connects commuters with stations the lack of buses at peak times, when every minute counts, discounts the service as an efficient method to travel.

Please increase the service at peak times so that more school pupils and commuters can take advantage of travelling by bus.
