Families have all seen a sharp increase in household expenditure from keeping these same children on a 2 month-long stay-at-home due to the Corona virus Lockdown, taking away Free Bus passes for children is a double whammy.  

I feel that TfL should be taking baby steps on this matter, they should have a)added an Income threshold and b) given enough Notice, c) introduced a gradual increase  d) introduce costs for weekend travel,  instead of totally scrapping it. 

Many Parents/households have lost their Income over this period, many self-employed, freelance & small business owners won't survive the lockdown period, households with school age children, children with Special needs and families on low Income and Welfare Benefits will have to fork out more money they don't have, at a crucial time the UK's Gig economy has nosedived.

Public Sector gigs should also be given the same IR35 reprieve the Private sector is now enjoying -  it should be scrapped. Some Umbrella companies are already making a killing with unfair double deductions, as it is.
