Rosetta and Cregagh residents were well served by the Metro 30 service which connected them with local services on the Ormeau Road, as well as Belfast city centre.

In Summer 2019 Translink advertised that the Metro 30 route would be maintained and then renumbered as the 7F, along with a number of other routes being renumbered including 30A becoming 7E, 29C becoming 7G and 29 becoming 7H.

Every other service has been successfully changed, however the 7F service has not been introduced, leaving local residents without a bus service that can connect them to local shops, doctors, dentists etc. on the Ormeau Road.

As your local representatives, we have been in contact with Translink to ask them to restore our local bus services. Despite advertising the 7F service last year, they have no plans to introduce it any time soon.
