As students at Weston High School who take the bus often, we are concerned about the impact of diesel buses on our health and environment. Diesel exhaust is a known carcinogen and can exacerbate asthma and other respiratory issues. Additionally, diesel buses contribute significantly to air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.

Electric buses offer a cleaner, healthier alternative. They produce zero tailpipe emissions, reducing our exposure to harmful pollutants. Moreover, they are quieter and more energy-efficient than their diesel counterparts.

By transitioning to electric school buses, Weston can lead by example in promoting sustainable transportation while protecting student health. We urge the Weston School District to prioritize this change for a better future for all students.
