Transitional training permit to General Practitioner

The Issue

Under AZ SB 1271, the Unmatched USA citizens physicians are getting their training under the supervision of qualified physicians,  and establishing their role in reducing the shortage in health care providers by helping the providers,  clinics and medical institutions to admit and treat more patients per day. Yet, after 2 years of intense clinical training and the possibility of not getting a residency spot they might lose their permit and the skills again.

The role of Arizona Medical Board is to issue new regulation to protect those physicians and to have them as essential part of the health care system and to offer them a license to practice medicine as General Practitioners and consider their 2 years training as equivalent to any academic training. Which is required for them to apply for the license as General Practitioners.
