The United States is one of only three countries in the world that still primarily uses the Imperial system of measurement, alongside Myanmar and Liberia. This system, while traditional, is not as universally applicable or easy to use as the Metric system used by most of the world. The Metric system's base-10 structure simplifies calculations and conversions, making it more efficient for scientific, educational, and everyday purposes. By transitioning to this globally accepted standard, we can facilitate international trade and communication while also improving education in science and mathematics.
