Paper hall passes have many downsides. They cost a lot of money to buy each year, they are time-consuming to write up, and they contribute to a ton of paper waste here at AHS! 

This petition aims to get support to transition away from the traditional paper hall pass, in favor of more modern alternatives, such as digital hall passes, that could save time, money, and waste.

Did you know, a teacher could spend more than 15 hours a year just writing hall passes? Did you know that AHS purchased over 160,000 hall passes during the 2023-2024 school year? Digital hall passes could solve the time, waste, and monetary expenses of this unsustainable practice.

FUN FACT: AHS Spent nearly $5,000 on hall passes during the 2023-2024 school year. Thats nearly the entire funding of the FOOTBALL TEAM!
