My name is a concerned employee working the night shift (Wednesday/Thursday) for EMS in Jefferson Parish, LA, USA. From firsthand experience, I testify to the need for a fully apt dispatcher during our taxing night shifts. Our role in 911 response is pivotal; we need a dispatcher who is knowledgeable and can respond to emergencies swiftly and efficiently. More over, we need a dispatcher who knows us, sounds good on the radio and is friendly. We believe that Jana is the perfect fit for our shift rotation. 

Statistics prove the critical role of competent dispatchers. According to research from the National Emergency Number Association, emergency operators in the United States answer about 240 million 911 calls each year. Even a minute's delay can mean the difference between life and death.

We are requesting to have Jana, an individual who has demonstrated her superior skills and all-around competence, transferred to the EMS Wednesday/Thursday Night Shift rotation. This move would ensure we have the caliber of support that helps us serve the community better and ensure our sanity via her dispatching skills and her awesome personality.
