The A56 is completely GRIDLOCKED 24/7.

Thanks to our successful campaign, we got the council to remove the LUDICROUS cycle lanes removed from the carriageway, but IT HASN'T WORKED.

The road is STILL GRIDLOCKED. HARD WORKING motorists are stuck in traffic for HOURS. Ambulances CAN'T GET through. Residents are TRAPPED in their own homes and LITERALLY cannot receive post or parcels, or get to the shop.

We at AMD (Alliance of Moaning Drivers) DEMAND that the council IMMEDIATELY remove the footways on A56 Chester Road to allow traffic to flow. They're rarely used, there are no queues of pedestrians and yet there's SIX LANES of stationary traffic. WE need that space more as HONEST HARD WORKING MOTORISTS.

Pedestrians don't even pay PAVEMENT TAX or wear HIGH VIS, why should they get the right to the roads that WE MOTORISTS fund?
