Monroeville has a population roughly of 27,000 people. We have a Shop N Save, Giant Eagle, and Aldi within the city limits. That is not enough to sustain a city this size. We need another grocery store. People love Trader Joe’s and currently have to travel to McCandless, Bethel Park, or East Liberty.  We have the economic ability to sustain one with Monroeville, Murrysville, and Plum alone. Monroeville is already a shopping destination and an eating destination for eastern Allegheny county.  We have 2 major hospitals and major businesses present here and some corporate headquarters.

Trader Joe’s would do great in that location. And it would mean increased revenue dollars for Monroeville. I urge everyone to sign this. I urge Nick Gresock - mayor of Monroeville and the Monroeville Council to get on board and make a push for this to happen.
