In the Bay Area , specifically the East Bay there is a lack of Trader Joe’s in the area. To be a resident in Union city, Ca it is very difficult to take a trip to our favorite chain grocery store Trader Joe’s. The problem is that our city does not have a Trader Joe’s, and the closest one is a city or two over; in addition both stores have extremely long lines and living currently in the 2020 pandemic is not a great idea to have people gathering. If Trader Joe’s changes their policy on having Distance restrictions from each store being built in a new city, we can be a step closer to getting this done, and the people of union city can shop at there favorite store without the anxiety of driving a city or two over and waiting in long lines. Currently, Union City has approximately 73,949 residents, and a lot of those people feel the same way I do. We want a Trader Joe’s in Union City, Ca
