Bring Trader Joe's to Grants Pass, Oregon Please...!
The Issue
The community of Grants Pass, Oregon needs a Trader Joe's in order to keep us healthy and keep more money in OUR pockets!
When we moved here from Santa Rosa, California about 5 years ago. We were excited to learn about our new city, find our new haunts, meet local people, and so on. One of the first things we found, or didn't find, was a Trader Joe's. TJ's had OUR store in Santa Rosa (where there are 3 stores within city limits) and were even more frustrated to learn that the closest TJ's was/is in Medford, more than 30 miles from our house in Merlin/Grants Pass.
So we went in search of the local "health food" stores. There are 3 and all have incredibly high prices. $5-$7 for a gallon of milk?!?! We were sure we weren't in Santa Rosa anymore and there's no way that we could afford to do our regular grocery shopping at those stores! So off to the big box stores we went: There are 2 Safeways, an Albertson's, Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, and Winco. None of which have everything we need/want. So then we end up going to 2 or 3 different stores.
Trader Joe's...please consider making a move into Grants Pass, Oregon. I am positive that you will find a community ready to welcome you with open arms!
