Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard Sr. is an American professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association. Damian Lillard is one of the best shooters & scorers in NBA HISTORY but has nothing to show for it because of the team he’s been playing on. Dame has been stuck with the Blazers for over a DECADE now & even the fans are starting to get tired of his “Loyalty”. It gets to a point where the organization that you’ve been loyal to for so long, just doesn’t deserve thy loyalty & this is why I’m making this petition. We the people are afraid that Dame’s legacy might just end up being another “oh remember damian Lillard, yeah he was good” type legacy’s & WE do not want that to happen. Damian Lillard is one of the TWO only Point Guards in NBA History that needs to be guarded as soon as he passes the half court line because he can pull up from ANYWHERE on the court.  Because of his skill set, he deserves to be spoken about amongst the greatest point guard’s of all time and sadly that won’t happen if he stays with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Where should he be traded? The Miami Heat. The Miami Heat are the biggest over achieving team in the league & that is because of their roster. For example; The Miami Heat technically only have 1 all-star in Bam Adebayo in 2023 & have 4 undrafted players in the rotation. Every fan & sports analyst had the Miami Heat losing inThe first round & some had them losing the play-in tournament at time. Here is what the people didn’t know. The people seem to not understand that there is such thing as players that actually EXCELL in the playoffs, & the Heat have that player in Jimmy Butler. Every single year Jimmy Butler wills his teams to the playoffs then EXCELLS his game in every aspect to either get to the ECF or even the finals, while never having one of the top rosters in the league. Jimmy Butler combined with the BEST coach in the league in Erik Spoelstra & the MIAMI HEATS HEART is the reason why we over achieve. Damian Lillard is what the Heat need to get them over the edge & terrorize this league for yesrs to come. This trade will also benefit Dame because he will finally win his deserved ring & his legacy will be Skyrocketed. He will also be in more MVP talks because his team will actually have winning records.  

Dame has suffered long enough. The fans have suffered long enough.
