My wife and I own three horses and a mule. For over a decade, we’ve relied on Ivermectin paste to keep our four-legged loved ones healthy and worm-free. For nearly a year, we have struggled to find this drug available on shelves due to its unauthorized use for COVID-19.

In an effort to find alternatives to becoming vaccinated, many people are experimenting with animal-grade Ivermectin paste as a way to prevent and treat COVID-19. As a result of this, shelves are persistently empty, leaving horse owners without this important preventative drug. 

Not only is the consumption of Ivermectin paste potentially harmful for the people consuming it, but countless animals continue to go without the benefits of this treatment.

I am calling on any retailer of Ivermectin paste, and specifically Tractor Supply Company, to keep this drug in locked cabinets. People seeking this paste for experimental reasons will be unlikely to ask for the cabinet to be unlocked.

This protects both the community from unknowingly harming themselves and their customers by helping ensure the products they need for their animals remain on the shelves.
