To Whom It May Concern

My name is Janet Inzeo.  On May 4,2019, my daughter was the victim of a crime.  She was a passenger on the back of a BMW motorcycle involved in a horrific accident in Denver Colorado.  The rider/driver of the motorcycle reached a high rate of speed of 131 mph in order to evade getting a ticket.  He proceeded to run a red light and crashed into a vehicle.  The rider/driver of the motorcycle died on impact.  Sadly my daughter was catapulted many feet away from the scene of the accident suffering severe, life threatening injuries and on May 6,2019, at the age of 27, passed away leaving behind 2 daughters ages 2 and 15 months and a heartbroken mother.

Today I am petitioning the manufacturer of all vehicles, not just motorcycles, to develop a device to automatically slow the speed of said vehicles when they are being driven recklessly.  No states have speed limits over 75mph except, of course, for trained first responders and officers of the law.  Vehicles have sensors for tailgating and backup.  I am advocating for such sensors being installed for reckless, high speed driving.  

This petition is put forth in an effort to prevent the loss of another daughter, or any life for that matter, in a senseless, preventable situation.
