It is our understanding that an ordinance banning the sale (not adoption) of puppies and kittens in pet stores was proposed to the Town of Superior Board. Pet stores buy from puppy and kitten mills, so this ordinance helps shut down the mills. We strongly support this ordinance and would be proud to say that Superior is taking positive steps to help eliminate puppy and kitten mills.

If anyone has any questions, just Google "puppy mill." Or don't, because what you will see is horrifying and should never exist. It's unfathomable that we are putting up with the inhumane treatment of animals in this day and age. 

9 towns in CO have passed the ordinance. We believe Superior said they want to hear from their residents on the issue before they go forward. For this reason, I propose a collection of signatures from locals to demonstrate what the town's people really want.
