That is what the Modera Gilbert development would be on the SWC of Higley and Ray Rd.
If we let the Town of Gilbert change the zoning from commercial to residential.
Mill Creek Residential, represented by Pew & Lake PLC, is proposing the change of commercial zoning to resident zoning to put up a 274 unit townhome/apartment building on this corner.
Many of us are already tired of all the apartment buildings going up. The traffic was bad enough around San Tan Marketplace before apartments - now it's unbearable. The last thing we want are more apartments.
By signing this petition we are stating that we want the Town of Gilbert to keep the existing commercial zoning for the parcel on the SWC Higley and Ray Rd. We want to have restaurants, stores and commercial amenities within walking distance of our houses. Not more houses or apartments.
