The mascot for Carpinteria High School portrays Native Americans in a dehumanizing way. There’s a lot of injustice just in this town and Carpinteria High should be where we look. We’re finally talking a stand and letting our voices be heard. Our mascot needs to change. Not only is it offensive to Natives, it’s just disrespectful.
