We want Tim Horton's in Caledon East!!!!!

The people of Caledon East want our community to thrive and be successful.  As much as we love the small town feel here, it would be nice to grab a Tim's before watching a local hockey game, soccer game, or on a work break etc. 

The downtown core of Caledon East is full of boarded up houses, business's that constantly go out of business.  We all want to see our local business be successful, but in order for that to happen we need people to stop in our beautiful downtown core.  Many residences have lost confidence in the development of the downtown core.  Tim Horton's will help drive the business locally in Caledon East. Entrepreneur's will invest in Caledon East when they are assured the clientele is there to keep their business's open and thriving.  This will hopefully lead to a pub/restaurant development, hardware store and possibly a local car wash. This will also help student/seniors in Caledon East stay in their community and work in their community that currently lacks jobs for young students. 

There is a concern on the location of this proposal.  Tim Horton's has submitted an application to the town asking to allow them to put a drive thru on the properties 16054 & 16060 Airport Road (located just north of Old Church Rd. on the West side of Airport Road).  Regardless of location, this petition is to express those who want a Tim Horton in Caledon East, the concerns of location will be reviewed on March 24th.  One upside to the location is that it will actually slow down those who are driving through the town at high speeds.

There are plenty of voices that petition any change.  There are many unheard voices that need to start speaking up about the changes they want to see in this great community we live in.
