A few days ago I requested pledges from people who had signed the petition.  We won't need the money now until the town has voted to make the Stone House a project.  The purpose of the pledge request is to determine how much support we will be receiving since the town council won't allow town funds to restore the building.  This is a WE THE PEOPLE project.

But so far, $845 have been pledged and a local contractor has pledged to put a new roof and gutters on the Stone House all out of his own pocket.  

So, could you let us know how much you would like to pledge towards the restoration?  Any amount is appreciated.  No amount is too small.  We've had pledges from $20 up to $250 so far...not including the probably $20,000 or more from the contractor.

The pledges won't be asked for until the Stone House project is approved by town council and it's going to take a while to get things moving...plans and drawings, etc.  You will receive an email from me letting you know when it's ok to send in your pledge.  The timeline for fulfilling your pledge is up to you.
