More greedy developers are threatening to destroy a historic part of East London. In 1851 when Prince Albert laid the foundation stone to the London Chest Hospital he could not have foreseen the damaging development of luxury flats that today threatens this unique and celebrated listed building. The proposal includes the demolition of the historic south wing and roof, a number of new towers which will overwhelm neighbouring building, while providing only 20% 'affordable' housing. The majority of the development will be unattainable to the average Londoner - adding to the housing crisis. You can and must ACT NOW.
