Marking at Torrens University is extremely strict and exaggerated. As being a student at Torrens University, we should be treated as learners, not as experts. 
Many students are signing this petition because they are highly demotivated. As this is the only way to be heard.

This online based studies is already being tougher throughout the COVID-19 and seems like universities are only just keen to apt fees out of students on time. There is no other responsibilities been showed by the trainers and other staff members. 
 The assessments are made way too harder for students to pass. The online quiz which was closed book and were asked for citations. Also, attempting 30 questions including MCQ’s and long questions anwers were givien to be finished in 1 hour period, which is absolutely unethical and inhuman. 

Students  are being judged and graded according to English rather than the knowledge and understanding they gain from subjects. Also, there is no proper guidance given after marking the assessments showing what the answers should be, resulting the fail in subject and therby to be continued with the same thing next semester. 

In the midst of a pandemic, mid semester placement allocations, placement assessments, and online learning, students have felt completely unsupported and there has been no sufficient accommodation from Torrens university in response to these challenging times. 

We strongly encourage our assessment to be marked by our trainers teaching us, instead of random trainers who do not know what has been taught in the class.

CCA206 quiz was inhuman, and a short time was provided to complete the quiz, which we believe only a computer can finish.

We want to appeal to you that marking for bachelor of nursing should be merciful and trainers should be cooperative to students. We also appeal that all the assessment tasks should be clear and Achievable.

In order to the current situation, we want a supplementary assessment to pass this unit, not an inhuman quiz.
