Adolescent pregnancy is when girls usually age thirteen to nineteen become pregnant such in early stage. Teenage or adolescent pregnancy is something that is unacceptable in most communities and is seen as an abomination in places like Philippines. It is totally unacceptable in Philippines that, a person can be thrown out of their family, or even disowned by their parents.

Nowadays, teenage pregnancy is gradually becoming something that is seen as common and normal in many communities and because of that, the school dropout rate is gradually increasing every year. teenage pregnancy is becoming a major issue in society, it affects education, government, and the increase in unemployment, which is why it causes the collapse of our economy, which makes the youth even more impoverished.

The topic to be discussed in this literature review is about the need for teenage pregnancy prevention. The reason why teenage pregnancy prevention is so important is because it has a negative impact in the society and needs to be controlled by reminding the people and conducting a program about teenage pregnancy.
