The Punisher is one of the unsung/cult heroes of the Marvel Universe. The film adaptations don't do well in terms of box office, but the character is perfect prime to fit in with the epic expansion Disney and Marvel are doing with the Avengers saga. He should be brought to life, preferably by Tom Hardy, as at least either a supporting character in future Marvel films, or with his standalone Daredevil-esque Netflix series!
