The COVID19  Virus outbreak was just a matter  of Time:  After Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, avian flu, swine flu, SARS, HIV, Ebola, and other diseases nothing changed.

Risks for  creating Viruses: Animal Agricultur, Deforestation, Wildlife Trade, Hunting, Fishing, Wildlife Markets, Zoos, AnimalCircuses, Petshops who selling live Animals .

Abused, genetically modified, exhibited, caged in Zoos and Marine Parks , exploited in animal agriculture, fished, hunted, sold, slaughtered, killed by poachers, transported – animals are exploited to the point of extinction.

Exploitation of wildlife by humans through hunting, trade, habitat degradation and urbanization facilitates close contact between wildlife and humans, which increases the risk of virus spillover.

Our appetite for meat, milk and eggs is what promotes so-called zoonoses. In addition, this behavior means that we will be confronted with new and difficult to control viruses at shorter and shorter intervals-until we act!

 

The international wildlife trade jeopardizes the survival and welfare of billions of animals every year, including threatened and endangered species. These animals are often killed simply to be made into and sold as a decoration, piece of jewelry or a symbol of wealth, or they suffer horribly only to end up in a life of captivity.The wildlife trade poses a major threat to wild animals across the globe. The trade puts a price tag on species, leading to unsustainable population declines and causing undue pain and distress to animals killed for their body parts or smuggled long distances for the pet trade. The illegal wildlife trade is now one of the most lucrative illicit markets in the world.

 

 The virus behind COVID-19, which has infected  millions people all over the world, is thought to have originated in a wet market called the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, China.  There are also markets continue to operate throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and the U.S.

Similarly, the 2003 SARS outbreak was traced back to a wet market in China’s Guangdong province. The virus killed over 770 people in 29 countries.

Wildlife markets encourage the poaching of endangered species and facilitate the spread of diseases

 

 

Zoos , Marine Parks, Dolphinariums, Aquariums, Pet Shops who sell live animals are  risks of spreading Viruses like Covid19.

The consumption of wild Animals  and trade in wild animals also favors the transmission of viruses to humans.

 

 

We need to rethink how we treat Animals and Nature! 

 

We need to Ban Factory Farming, Ban hunting, Ban Wildlife markets,  Ban Fishing ,Ban Wildlife Trade, ending exploiting  of animals, close Zoos, Marine Parks ,Dolphinariums, going vegan.

 

If we dont act -  the next Virus  is just a matter of Time !!
