Dear good people of San Diego,

As most of you are aware, Little Italy is a prominent and beautiful neighborhood of Downtown San Diego. The most iconic part of Little Italy is the street that bears the name of the neighborhood. However, this street is not called "Italy Street," it's called "India Street." Doesn't make sense to you? Me Either.

It's time to end the confusion and pay homage to the many Italian businesses that make Little Italy the wonderful place that it is by renaming India Street, "Italy Street." 

Please support this petition by signing it and sending an email to the Mayor of San Diego, mayortoddgloria@sandiego.gov, letting him know that you support the name change. We can all celebrate over a slice of pizza.
