The “Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators”
Distribution Petition
Parents and Students of Cincinnati, may not know that Cincinnati Public Schools Educators have *their* own “Code of Conduct”.
This “Code of Conduct” was adopted by the Ohio Department of Education / Office of Professional Conduct on March 11, 2008, in the form of and titled
“Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators”.
Parents, Students, Guardians, Caregivers of Cincinnati Schools can find what the “Code” is. The content of the “Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators” contains vital Information pertaining to Ohio Educators' “Conduct” and what the Ohio Department of Education expects of their Educators. However, the “Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators” is not well disturbed by the Cincinnati School District, Board of Education.
Therefore, we the undersigned, call to action and are petitioning the Cincinnati Board of Education; it’s Elected Members and Superintendent to make Readily Available and Freely Distribute the “Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators” which was published and adopted by the Ohio Department of Education - Office of Professional Conduct / State Board of Education on March 11, 2008.
We the undersigned petition that All Manner of Distribution of the “Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators” to the Public in the form of but Not Limited to as Follows:
* Mailing of a Hard Copy to every Cincinnati Public School Student’s Parent(s), Guardian(s), and Caregiver(s) before the beginning of each New School year.
* Is Readily Available to every household that has a Cincinnati Public School, Student(s) Parent(s), Guardian(s), Caregiver(s) and to the general public.
* Freely and Openly available at every Cincinnati Public School and always in stock.
* Freely and Openly available at the Cincinnati Board of Education including but not limited to the “Customer Help/Welcome Center and always be in stock.
* Free Copies Displayed for availability at every Cincinnati Public School Board Meeting alongside other Board Meeting Publications, whether or not there are any Board Meeting Publications displayed and always in stock that Parents, Students, Guardians, Caregivers, and the General Public have quick and easy access to.
* US Postal Mailed upon request from Parents, Students, Guardians, Caregivers, and General Public at no cost to the requester.
* An Easily Visible Click-able Direct Link to the State Board of Education “Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators” on the Cincinnati Board of Education’s Website.
* All Future Revisions and/or Adoptions of the “Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators” which shall be published and adopted by the Ohio Department of Education - Office of Professional Conduct / State Board of Education are Distributed as described in this Petition, no more than 15 calendar days of said Publication.
* Equality: each time Parents, Students, Guardians, Caregivers are informed about the Student Code of Conduct they must also be informed about the “Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators” and the Citizen Reporting Form; along with the Three Avenues they can use to submit their Complaint with the Office of Professional Conduct of the Ohio Department of Education, should they feel the need to File.
