Theresa Sax is using town power to target citizens with false harmful & hurtful accusations.  She has made harassing accusations of theft, tax fraud, and drug involvement against pumpkin festival lead organizers in an attempt to remove the festival of ten years from the group.

Theresa accused the group of stealing a "donated stage," it was purchased with fest funds and has been stored by the town and available for school use.  A fest permit must be held by a non-profit group, last year we followed guidance of the former town manager to allow a partnered 501c3 to aquire the permit, and fest planning/funds flow through our event hosting company as been for 10 years, Theresa reported both groups for tax fraud.  She along with follower selectmen Frank DiConzo, voted against the festival permit this year.  She has used her powers in an attempt to take the festival to benefit a rival non-profit group she is a member of, the same group the festival organizers used to lead (envision rumford.) She & ER also wrongly overtook a community bulletin board built by the fest organizers, in an attempt to exclude our own groups advertisings, removed our property stickers & stole multiple lawn signs. (A police report was filed.)  Lastly, the current town manager has reported the two mentioned select persons have accused fest organizers of being involved with drug use and involvement following the death of a friend from substance abuse 2 years ago.  That is three violating and hurtful forms of harassment, and it's crossed the line! 

Theresa Sax should have no power to make decisions for the Town of Rumford, and needs to be removed from the Board of Selectmen.  Following the 2024 pumpkin fest, we WILL NOT host or assist the Town of Rumford with any future events, benefits, or community involvement until she is removed.  We would greatly appreciate your support and signature!
