On the 16th January our Childrens Nursery Manager was made redundant, due to the headteacher saying that it would improve standards. This teacher went out of her way to make nursery as special as possible for both the children and the parents. So much so she spent a lot of money out of her own pocket to do special stuff for the likes of mothers day, fathers day, christmas etc. Shes absolutely devastated at the fact she lost her job and we feel as parents needed to do something to show the head teacher that we are not so easily swayed. Bearing in mind that the nursery and the infants are seperate buildings and you never see the head only when shes taking credit for the nursery when the nursery excel.
