Hello Everyone,

Thanks so much again for signing our petition to save the building that housed the Beaconsfield Arms. Just to update you that the decision has not yet been made and it is still not clear when it will be but any comments made on the application will be considered up until that time, the planning officer Richard White has informed us.

Through approaching various heritage organisations, we have managed to obtain the support of the High Wycombe Society, the Victorian Society and Save Britain's Heritage. Tony Mealing, the artist who provided the beautiful painting on the last update, has has applied to Historic England to list the building and is awaiting a decision.

While these are positive developments, while this planning application remains undecided, this building is under threat of demolition. Please continue to make comments directly on the planning application and to sign and share this petition.

We attach a photo of the building circa 1900 from the Bucks Archives.

We will post any further update with information as soon as it is available.

Many thanks,

Stuart and Kasia Kelly, Temple End.
