Petition updateSave the Beaconsfield Arms from DemolitionDeadline of 11 October for objections to the application
Temple End Residents' Association
Sep 25, 2019

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for signing our petition to try and save the Beaconsfield Arms and for leaving positive comments on the petition page.

We have been in touch with Richard White, the planning officer who told us that we have until 11 October to make comments or objections on the application on the Wycombe planning site. Please leave additional comments on the planning page if you can.
https://publicaccess.wycombe.gov.uk/idoxpa-web/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=PVJLZUSCI7I00

We attempted to open this petition on the Wycombe epetitions portal but it was rejected as it is about a planning application and the appropriate way to register objection is to comment. However, we believe a petition is an easier and more accessible way for people to register their objection and more clearly demonstrates the scale of opposition there is to the demolition of the Beaconsfield Arms.

Therefore, we will be submitting the names of people who have signed this petition to the planning website on 11 October. Please continue to sign this petition and share it with as many people as possible before then.

We attach a painting of the Beaconsfield Arms by Tony Mealing, a consultant conservation architect who supports our campaign.

Kind regards,

Stuart and Katarzyna Kelly
Temple End Residents' Association.
