This petition stems from a deeply personal experience. Like many others, I am one of the 18 unit earners who were disqualified for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) application this March 2024 due to the implementation CMO 75 series of 2017. For 6 long years, this policy was not implemented, and now in the year 2024, it has suddenly come into effect.

We are not asking for special treatment but merely a fair chance to prove our worth by having this kind of opportunity to take the final journey as inspiring to become a teacher. for the past 6 years since the release of the policy CMO 75 Series of 2017, just suddenly this 2024 enforcement of this policy without prior notice or grace period that this policy will be strictly implemented.  

Therefore, we urge the responsible authorities to reconsider their decision and allow us to have a chance to file this September  – We are working hard to get the 18 units to fulfill the requirements – Before closing your door to all 18 unit earners LET!! just give us another chance to grant us to file for LET this coming September 2024. Your support can make a significant difference in our lives as well as contribute positively towards shaping future generations through quality education.
