Steve Allen has been a key radio presenter for decades, with the majority of that time being on LBC radio. But without warning we heard on Friday 24/2/23 he had 'departed' from LBC after 44 years of loyal service!

We need him back:

He is funny, unique,  and honest etc. He gets very high listener ratings, contributes hugely to your global make some noise charity etc and for all his regular listeners,  he is a joy to listen to.

For many of us, he is the tonic to keep us going and cheer us up in our darkest hours. He's probably saved many a life without even realising it!! After all you can't be too depressed listening to his show!!

Many rely on his wit and conversations to get them going and keep them alert first thing in the morning   - taxi drivers, lorry drivers, NHS staff, carers, teachers, parents, sick and disabled people, insomniacs, nursing parents, the  elderly  and so on, we all rely on Steve Allen's show to keep us happy and entertained.

For whatever reason he may have departed, please reinstate him, we need him back on board to make the nation and his loyal fan base happy again.
