When I was 13 I had nothing to do at all and I desperately wanted a job.Also back in the day kids where allowed to have a job.Also it’s not like kids are going to be working in the coal mines.Im talking about jobs like scooping ice cream at the local ice cream parlor, being caddy’s at a golf course or renting golf carts to people at a golf course, being one of those people who rides a golf cart around the country club and inspects the golf carts or drives items or people around, a sweeper. ,a crew member at their local movie theater  ,  and many other small parties after school or summer jobs.We used to give these jobs to kids and why not nowadays.

Some people are saying kids should just be kids and go out and have fun and do what they did as kids.But everything is so expensive nowadays and middle schools especially the one I went to in Ct did not have any after school activities.

Finally why are we treating 13 through 15 year olds like baby’s.Kids these ages nowadays are treated like babies and have the same privileges as a toddler according to the law.Whats 13 mean anymore if you can’t do anything and you’re treated the same as a 5 year old.Come on Connecticut stop treating teens like babies and give teens some privileges already.
