TKS/SIGA Telecom (T-Mobile Deutschland GmbH) & all affiliates

TKS/SIGA Telecom (T-Mobile Deutschland GmbH) & all affiliates
The Issue
This contracted host nation entity was allowed to rent space on our base, inside of our Post Exchange, and refuse to honor thousands of cellular phone contracts. The original contract clearly states that “In the case of a premature cancellation with valid military order to any other country that the home country, no penalty for the contracts’ remaining basic monthly fees will be charged.” At present, a new contracted entity has been employed and the previous entity “TKS/SIGA Telecom (T-Mobile Deutschland GmbH) & all affiliates” are not being held liable by the previous contract. Thousands of Active Duty service members, family members, DA civilians and contractors are now responsible, under the new contract, for an additional 3 months of service, regardless of whether they can continue use of the service or not. It is now considered a “90 day buy-out”, which is a direct breach of the original contract. Contracts are legal and binding and should be honored as such. AAFES slogan is “Serving the Best Customers in the World”; this is not how the “best” customers in the world should be serviced. This contracted host nation entity was allowed to infiltrate our bases and take full advantage of our service members, the world’s most prestigious citizen. We have to demonstrate to our leadership that this is not acceptable behavior and let them know we expect swift action in situations like this. If the previous contractor was allowed to get away with this, what's to say SIGA Telekom won't try it? If we don't stand for something, we will fall for anything! Please sign this petition showing your support for our service members, their families, and all that support them. It is our hope that this issue can be resolved in a manner amicable to all parties involved. If not, we plan to take this matter all the way to our AAFES headqurters in Dallas, Texas. We will not stop until they one, honor our contracts, or two, are forced outside of our gates due to unfair business practices.
