The Issue

Anthem Next represented a fresh start for a game with massive potential. We, the fans, believe in the vision BioWare had for Anthem's revival. In a gaming world where many titles have turned around (like No Man’s Sky and Cyberpunk 2077), we know Anthem deserves the same chance. We ask BioWare and EA to reconsider or allow a smaller team to complete the work. Sign to show support!

In 2019, Anthem launched with massive potential but also undeniable flaws. BioWare listened to the players and began work on Anthem Next — a bold overhaul intended to transform the game into the experience it was always meant to be.

Sadly, in 2021, development on Anthem Next was canceled, despite clear improvements, community support, and a strong framework already in progress.

We, the players and fans of Anthem, are asking BioWare and Electronic Arts to reconsider and revive the development of Anthem Next.

In today's gaming industry, we have seen incredible redemption stories. Such as some already mentioned above. But added again to stress the importance of a comeback story.

No Man’s Sky rebuilt and succeeded.

Final Fantasy XIV was reborn as one of the greatest MMOs.

Cyberpunk 2077 turned things around after a rough start.

We believe Anthem can follow that same path with renewed vision and a committed team.

Anthem’s world, flight mechanics, lore, and javelin designs are still beloved by a passionate fanbase. We are ready to return, support, and promote the game if given the chance.

Please BioWare and EA — bring back Anthem Next, even if with a smaller team, even if as a side project. Give Anthem the redemption it deserves.

Sign this petition to show your support — let's show them the Anthem still lives!
