I started this petition to WARN and deter customers from going to this establishment. I recently paid a visit to Tips and Toes Nail Salon in Lakeland, Florida. As each customer was served, I noticed that NONE of the nail technicians cleaned or sanitize their instruments. I became extremely concerned when a customer complained of being cut by the instrument used on her nails, she immediately started bleeding and the nail technician, named Nina continued to use the same instrument to finish the customers bleeding nails. Once that customer was done, Nina took the same instrument, that was previously used on the bleeding customer and began working on another customer WITHOUT CLEANING OR SANITIZING THE INSTRUMENT. I shared with Nina that her previous customer could have had HIV or AIDS and urged her to sanitize the instruments. Nina became very irate and began to curse at me. I went to take pictures of the nail technicians nail certification that was pined on the wall and another nail technician named Kim, hit me in my chest, took my cell phone out of my hand and threw it across the room. Needless to say, I will never patronize this establishment on the grounds of rude and unprofessional treatment received and their refusing to ensure that all instruments are safe and sanitized for all customers.
