Timmins Community Safety

The Issue

  1.  WE THE RESIDENTS AND TAXPAYERS OF TIMMINS believe that the violent crime, property crime and loss of safety in the City of Timmins is in a large part due to the location and expansion of Living Space and the Safe Injection Site.
  2. WE THE RESIDENTS AND TAXPAYERS OF TIMMINS support the relocation of Living Space away from residential and commercial areas, with a distance barrier to these areas.
  3. WE THE RESIDENTS AND TAXPAYERS OF TIMMINS want to see the current City Council, Timmins Police, CDSSAB Board of Directors and Crown Attorney work together to plan, adopt and implement real solutions that will reduce the drugs on our streets, needles in our parks and crime in our neighbourhoods.
  4. OUR VOTES, IN THE NEXT MUNICIPAL, PROVINCIAL AND FEDERAL ELECTIONS will be influenced by the success of the current elected officials in dealing with these critical issues.
