FREE ENTERPRISE FLOURISHES WITH FREE ELECTIONS

In its landmark 2010 Citizens United v. FEC decision, the Supreme Court ruled that corporations possess the same First Amendment free speech rights as natural persons, allowing them to spend unlimited funds on those they favor in our electoral process. With such rights come responsibilities.  We believe that our great tech companies should use their economic power to uphold the integrity of our democratic political process.

The companies you Chair- Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla - have their roots in the opportunities provided by our American democratic system.

We urge you as leaders of these pillars of US free enterprise to make it known that you oppose any federal overreach into our electoral process, including deploying military or law enforcement to polling places and imposing federal citizenship-documentation mandates on voters.

At this crucial time in our history,  We the People need to stand up and make our voices known. We hope that you’ll join us in raising yours on behalf of the freedoms that we all hold dear.
