Remove "The Problem With Pit Bulls" Article

The Issue

This article combines fakes statistics with interviews of complete nutcases to completely slander and destroy a truly innocent breed. An article like this from such a large publication can truly do damage and create MORE prejudice against these beautiful creatures. Unforunately they can not stand up for themselves, it is up to US.  It is saddening to see that TIME magazine has made the mistake of researching absolutely none of the info for this article and interviewing people known in the animal community as complete psychotic nut cases.

Here are the real statistics that the article does not mention -

"When bites are take into consideration versus their breed population, the American Pit Bull Terrier comes in at the lowest spot. With Chow Chow, German Shepard, St.Bernard and Doberman taking the lead spots. In fact, the Humane Society, CDS and Dogbitestatistics.org will not even do statistics by breed because there is no real correlation between breed and amount of bites. So how is it that three nationally recognized societies have came out and announced there is no correlation and yet you lie and provide statistics from some guy no one has heard about? According to the National Canine Research Council, breed could not even be factored in because there was not enough correlation and many of the dogs were not even a pure breed. Moving on, The American Temperament Test Society deems that the APBT is not one of the top aggressive dogs, in fact 86% of American Pit Bull Terriers passed their most recent test, that is more than over half of the breeds they test including but not limited to - Lhasa Apso, Kerry Blue Terrier, Afghan Hound, Akita, Basenji, Bichon Frise, Bloodhound and so forth.."   Here is the original and false article - http://time.com/2891180/kfc-and-the-pit-bull-attack-of-a-little-girl/
