October 10,2016. 11:30am Riverside,ca. 911..What's your emergency? My name is Leticia Barron  I am looking for my son Mauricio Barron 27yrs old.  That morning my son was not himself, we were taking him to get evaluated at local hospital for possible mental health crisis. His lifelong friend came and said I would like to help,I said ok we will meet you at the hospital.  My son a couple days prior kept calling 911 asking for help and he also called "me" his Mother. There is a whole back story to my Son's death that the District Attorney, Calif Hwy patrol, and the News media's left out. Later on that afternoon my daughter put a plea on Facebook if anybody see's this person please contact her. Someone around 6:50pm said there was a man on the NB I-5 fwy waving his arms in lanes of traffic, while 911 calls were pouring in "Man on fwy.  Police unit were holding traffic back  because they saw my son jump the center divider to SB side where they observed him get struck by an oncoming car @65mph. In the carpool lane. That person exited the fwy,  and didn't not pull over right then.  My son had blunt force injuries to his body a broken foot, fractured neck and his hyoid bone. He managed to get across to the side of the fwy where about 5 min later a Chp motorcycle cop shot him three times and killed him.  The call was for "pedestrian hit by a car, Emergency to respond asap! But they were told to stage above the fwy for 16 minute delay...because now it was an officer involved shooting? The officer that shot my son was supposed to HELP him! not SHOOT him! My son was injured and unarmed at the time of the shooting. Not one witness to the shooting! on a busy fwy...Dashcams malfunctioned at time of shooting! Motorcycle cop not wearing body cam,  he did not call for back up or give a warning. Officer's version of his story was Pedestrian sidestepping toward him 50ft yelling " I have a gun" and he says " 20ft away my son yelled " I'm going to kill you" he couldnt yell or speak? Then officer's say my son punched his arms out like a shooting stance  and that's when he decide to fire... just 7ft from him where he stood. Officer  was crouched behind rear of bike for cover. Officer said my Son was coming around rear side of bike to flank him? See Pictures...my son was shot toward front of bike, and the officer had less than lethal objects like pepperspray or tazer he could have used. These pictures were never showed in court along with the 911 calls or possible witnesses that could have been subpoenaed. My son was never suicidal! For them to say this on TV "Suicide by Cop" once again a narrative they use....to me is just as bad as him being shot and killed.

This is my Son's story and this is only one of THOUSANDS of stories of our "Loved Ones that have been killed by police Violence nationwide. This could happen to YOU! WE Know because it happened to US! I am asking ALL IMPACTED FAMILIES to please sign this petition,share and comment below with your Loved one's name, picture, city  and a short bio if you want, so we can honor them.

In the interest of the general public, if you  know someone that was killed by police and AGREE that there is a problem of continuing police violence nationwide Please also sign this petition along with Our Impacted Families so we can make our voices heard in Washington DC  at our  "Til We Win" Rally &  and Summit @  the DOJ, Dept. of Justice 950 Pennsylvania ave, DC June 22, 2023, from 11am to 2pm. This is a public event for anyone who wants to come out and show support and listen to the Impacted Families stories.

Please help make this Epic! We need over 100,000 plus signatures to make Congress,the Administration, Supreme Court Justices, and Atty. General Merrick Garland of Dept. Of Justice to listen to the American People to pass Laws accordingly State by State...

1. Prosecute,Accountability,or Fire for Police Misconduct and Error in Officer Involved shootings
2. Re-Open cases and Expose  massive cover ups for Injustice.
3. Mental Health Crisis teams in each State
4. End Qualified Immunity.
