It is FAR too easy for people to create hate accounts and fake accounts, this is where most of the toxicity comes from. I believe you should have to take a live photo of yourself when first creating a TikTok account and also use your real name. The photo should also stay like that for a certain length of time (just like you set your username and can’t change it for 30 days) that way with it being a Live Photo and a real legal name, less people will spread hate and toxicity.

There is a lack of equality on this app. As a big girl myself, multiple videos of mine get taken down or will get shadow banned if I wear a crop top or anything short or a little revealing, yet petite girls are allowed to dance in bikinis or create sexual content. This causes content creators like myself upset and hurt. I feel that everyone should be allowed to express themselves in a respectful way. Therefore the community guidelines should be slackened in this area.

Content creators a lot of the time get live banned WRONGFULLY. I was cutting my hair on live and got PERMANENTLY banned. There should be a specific email that TikTok answer to deal with these problems, especially for the larger accounts. I have tried to contact TikTok for months with no luck. This needs to change.

I truly hope people sign this, share this and take this on board. Some of these problems could be easily solved, some could stop bullying on TikTok, some could allow people to express themselves more without having the fear of being judged, if these problems were looked into, TikTok would be a much nicer and much safer space for all ages.
