Trisha Paytas continues to post Antisemitic and untrue information regarding Jewish cultural and religious practices and facts. She has also appropriated several other cultures and religions, and has demonstrated that she is aware of the offensive nature of her content. TikTok has already become a breeding ground for antisemitism , and much of Trisha’s content fuels this mindset by providing misinformation and buying into stereotypes about Israel and Zionism. She also perpetuates Antisemitic stereotypes about money and greediness. In addition, multiple videos show Paytas mocking holy Jewish customs and conflating Judaism with Israel and it’s army.

Real Jewish creators on the app continue to be subject to hate comments and threats for posting about their Judaism, and Trisha Paytas exploits this for attention and views. This has been the basis of her platform for many years (even prior to the creation of TikTok), and while most of her viewers understand that her videos aren’t meant to be taken seriously, they still can have dangerous implications for people who believe her claims. She also continues to post content about Jesus and Christianity or being a Jew for Jesus, when she has not converted to Judaism and her only claim to the religion/culture is dating a Jewish man. This is deeply disrespectful and mocks the actual religious and cultural history and tradition of Judaism and the oppression of Jewish people throughout the centuries.

The undersigned people demand that TikTok adhere to its promise “ to remove and ban hateful content” by banning Trisha Paytas’ account from TikTok or at the very least reviewing her content before posting to prevent further Antisemitic misinformation.
