Each month Millions of concert and event goers are unfairly treated by Ticketmasters predatory “Dynamic Pricing” model. Millions of true fans are missing out on seeing their favourite artist due to inconsistent, inconsiderate and unnecessary fees and high prices. 

in a cost of living crisis where customers are increasingly price sensitive, Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model is akin to price gouging. 

in the US The US Senate took Ticketmaster to congress for a grilling over the Taylor Swift fiasco. But nothing will change unless we speak out. 

Ticketmaster owned by the global and largest concert promoter in the world Live Nation have enormous power over setting ticket prices, reselling them and entering into anti competitive EXCLUSIVE agreements with venues who have very little choice but to accept if they want their venues to be successful. It’s a Behemoth that has gotten too powerful and too big and it crushes any competition who struggle to compete with their might. 

please sign this petition to get our law makers to compel Ticketmaster to meet with the Oireacteas and CCPC and any other delegated authority to ensure fairness in ticketing and to ensure that customers aren’t disadvantaged by them.

If ever there was a reason to hold Ticketmaster to account now is it  the whole OASIS ticket fiasco and price gouging by TM for tickets is a disgrace and it’s disgusting. Nobody is against them making a profit as it’s a business after all, but in a particularly acute cost of living crisis, expecting people to fork out over €400 on standing tickets is a disgrace. Dynamic pricing is not illegal as airlines do it, but TM pricing strategy is not transparent, is not fair and is predatory.  

they need to be held accountable and broken up  they are a defacto Monopoly and abuse their dominant position as a result. They in effect Set the prices. 

It’s crazy that some big concerts have a clear pricing strategy, people clearly know how much they are expected to pay when they buy tickets. And then there are some Concerts where there is no pricing transparency at all. 

something needs to be done. By signing this petition we can bring it to our local representatives and get this matter raised in the Dail. Something needs to be done
