Three Rivers Texas FCI and Camp have Inmates placed in the SHU ran by liuetanant Brown. Inmates are scared to reach out for help, these men are scared of retaliation from liuetanant Brown and other officers under him.

Many of these inmates have been in the SHU with no incident report, closed Investigationes and are awaiting transfers to other facilities that place them far away from place of residence making it hard for family members to be able to attend visits. These men are given 2 calls a month during this pandemic while other Inmates get free calls during these difficult times. Making it hard for them to check on family members, children, and loved ones. They have been locked up 23 hours a day, in an 8*12 space. Mental health status on these inmates are getting worse by the day. Office Brown has no need to transfer these men out of state far from home when the FCI and Camp have plenty of beds available to send these men back to dorms they belong to. Some of these men were not given incident reports due to them not being guilty. During this time of pandemic it is not save to move them out of state or to a different Facility due to the risk of them being infected. Some of these men have 4 months to 18 months left on their sentence and officer Brown refuses to send them back to general population or to satellite camp in Three Rivers. These SHU Inmates are under disciplinary investigationes and we understand they have a process to go through, but inmates that have closed Investigationes and have finished all punishments given to them should be released back to regular dorms. Rehabilitation for these men should be more important than liuetanant Brown proving that he has power. This Liuetanant Brown does not care about the well-being of these Inmates, all that matters to him is having power and a pay check. Our loved ones are nothing but a number to him.

We would like you to help us sign this petition so Warden Rios and the Grandpraire regional BOP office can reevaluate these men and give them at least one call a week, and let the inmates that have no incident reports and 18 months or less remaining on their sentence stay in Three Rivers Texas FCI or camp and not risk any more transfers during this time of chaos, this pandemic is not over and the lives of these men matter to us.
