Baldwins Lane (aka 'Croxley') Skatepark is a well-used facility by many young people who like to skateboard, BMX, inline and scooter. However the skatepark is poorly designed, it does not fully use up the space available making it awkward to use and has serious signs of wear – meaning, for example, skateboarders are unable to safely use it due to cracks and a bad surface (previous attempts at resurfacing did not help and therefore were a waste of money). 

Due to the problem being fundamental that it is badly designed and that the surface is unsuitable for many users of the skatepark, we believe that Three Rivers District Council urgently need to re-develop Baldwins Lane Skatepark in order to correct previous mistakes and not to waste more money.

 Furthermore, we believe that should the skatepark be re-developed it has to be designed by respected experts in skatepark building. Ideas for a potential appropriate skatepark that allows all users to benefit fully would be designed similar to The Level in Brighton, Crawley Skatepark or Cantelowes Skatepark in Camden (to list a few).
