In the developing world, millions of lives are lost each year due to malnutrition, infectious diseases and complications during pregnancy or childbirth. These deaths are preventable, however, through investment in and by providing access to innovative, affordable and safe global health technologies. This bill has passed in the House of Representatives, and now we need your help to get it through the Senate. As North Carolinians, we want to show our legislators that we care about global poverty! Students from the Jordan High School Red Cross Club are going to DC in September 2018 to lobby our senators in order to gain their support for this bill!
