This petition is to help get a Costco Store near Asheville NC.

The Issue

Asheville, NC is a bustling city with a growing population. However, residents of this area are currently lacking access to one of the most popular and affordable retailers in the country: Costco.

Costco is known for its high-quality products at low prices, as well as its commitment to ethical business practices and employee benefits. With over 800 locations worldwide, it's clear that Costco has become a staple in many communities.

According to a recent study by the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, there is significant demand for a Costco store in the area. The study found that over 60% of respondents said they would shop at Costco if it were available in Asheville.

Furthermore, having a Costco store nearby could have significant economic benefits for the community. According to an analysis by Civic Economics, every dollar spent at locally-owned businesses generates two to four times more economic impact than money spent at national chains like Walmart or Target.

By bringing a Costco store to Asheville, we can provide residents with access to affordable goods while also supporting our local economy. We urge city officials and representatives from Costco to work together towards making this vision a reality.
