Back in 2002, shortly after the release of a now 'greatest hits'-ranked game titled Kingdom Hearts, a proposal was made and rejected for producing a televised series of the game [read the details here: http://kh13.com/news/46755-disney-nearly-made-an-animated-kingdom-hearts-tv-series]. In the decade since then, multiple other games have been released which have fed a now gigantic fandom. This has spurred numerous advancements from merchandising to events at Disney theme parks. However, the slow release of recent additions to the story has left fans unsatisfied. Thus we ask Square Enix and Disney to once again consider producing a motion picture experience. We feel that this solution will strengthen the relationship between companies and fandom and that it will help both achieve their respective goals.
